  1. Yikes, this is the most terrifying example of intellectualism gone wrong that I have ever seen on youtube.

  2. I KNOW YOU CAN'T GET THIS BUT JESUS IS LOVE. AND THERE IS NO WAY FOR YOU TO KNOW THIS BECAUSE YOU MUST FIRST <>BELIEVE<> ON HIM TO UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH.?

  3. Lucifer or Satan is the malignant narcissist. His language says it all. He told Jesus to bow down and worship him, which is every narcissist's dream to be worshiped. "I will ascend to the heavens…I will be like the most High. I, I, I! You got the wrong guy buddy! Satan is the one you should do a video on!

  4. Claiming that Jesus is narcissist begins with one very large assumption, that Jesus was a mortal man and not the Son of God. If this is true, then his actions and teachings are certainly the product of a narcissist and the disruption to the lives of his followers is unforgivable.

The point the author missed was that while he is attributing all these negative characteristic to Jesus, he concedes that Jesus actually did perform miraculous acts of service for the people of his day. He even chides Jesus for threatening to withhold healing from those who did not adore and worship him.

Does that also mean that Jesus actually did rise from the dead and appeared to over 500 people in the 40 days after his death?

Does that mean that Jesus really lives today in a celestial world, so elevated from our own that we can scarce comprehend it?

If Jesus, who is all knowing, omnipresent, and omnipotent, claims to be all knowing, omnipresent, and omnipotent, is that narcissism or integrity?

Reminds me of a quote by my son, Jeremy: Arrogance is when you think you're right based on assumptions, confidence is when you know you're right based on evidence.

So, a narcissist is one who assumes they are right based on their assumptions. If Jesus was the Son of God, healed afflictions, and raised the dead, including himself, then he spoke with confidence because he was different than the rest of us. Jesus was not a narcissist, he was the Son of God.

  5. Truly liberating knowledge and wisdom. Unique as an analysis on this subject at this depth in my experience.

  6. Well, he might also have been the only Narcissist ever to actually BE God. Lol.

  7. Here's the thing, though:  Jesus backed up his claims to omniscience and omnipotence with real time ACTION.  Its not 'magical thinking' unless it is unrealistic or false.  Jesus did these things and thereby proved His words were true and that He was indeed God.

  8. Who would want a relationship with a person that got everything they wanted and then never paid any attention to them. Who would not want to worship and adore the ONE who loves us all the same inspite of how we behave towards them. God does. God doesnt need to be adored nor does he beg. It is an inward calling within that pulls us to love him. It is natural. If you are in a crowd and you feel someone walk by and touch you. You know that you have been touched. Same with God when HE…….Awh hey do your thing you guy's.

  9. As a social worker I have psycho analysed god and have come to the same conclusion. I tell christians that if they had a relationship with someone who insisted on constant praise and have to be told constantly how great they are, that they would not stay in that relationship, who would? But strangely when it comes to god, they have no problem with praising someone constantly and having to build up gods self esteem by telling him constantly how much they love him. How many people have ended interpersonal relationship because the other party always needs to be told how much the other person loves them? Since god needs to be told how much you love him, I also find him extremely insecure.

  10. If Jesus really was God, then in thinking he was God, he wouldn't be delusional. If you talk to Christians they often give God his own morality, and they say it's because he's God, and if you ask why some things that are not ok for humans are ok or even good for God to do, they say it's because he's God. It seems like "might equals right" to me.

  11. Dr Vaknin is really onto something here. EITHER Jesus Christ is a psychopathic narcissist OR he is the Son of God (as fantastic, ridiculous, and improbable as that may seem at first glance). There is no in-between. He wasn't just some benign loving enlightened teacher. Either he is EXACTLY who he claimed to be, or he is a delusional narcissistic psychopath. For those whom the Holy Spirit has gifted with "eyes to see and the hears to hear," the truth of his divinity can be easily established. Of any major religion on the planet Earth, only the coming of Jesus the Messiah was prophesied by Daniel the Prophet (the exact day was given) in ~600BC. The book of Daniel was found with the Dead Sea scrolls which carbon dated to ~200 years before the birth of Jesus. This is only one of >300 old testament prophesies Jesus fulfilled in his birth, life, death and resurrection. Such prophecy is the very signature of God, as he stands outside of the field of time and can see the beginning from the end.
Oddly, I have been really enjoying Dr Vaknin's videos. When I hear him say "there is no cure for narcissism," I beg to differ. If he or any other narcissist were to give their lives to Jesus Christ, the infilling of the Holy Spirit would quicken their dead emotions and heal their damaged souls. As a matter of fact, this is THE ONLY way such deep-seated and pervasive damage could be healed. One simply has to be earnestly and open-mindedly asking if Jesus is who he said he is, or if he was just a psychopathic narcissistic cult leader. Those will to set aside the popular societal preconceptions on the matter have a chance to find out the truth.

  12. reminds me of a guy I work with, and that situation guy from jersey shore.

  13. But then, i hear it's common for firstborn children to be used as scapegoats, when i myself have coincidentally been so-used too.

  14. Wow, Sam I give you credit for this video, you are brave to post it. Adultresses in ancient Judea were stoned to death for sure.  I wonder about Mary's family and what role they played in keeping her pregnancy hidden. I was raised Catholic, and molested by a Catholic church leader, the day that happened I never went back to church, I was living in Quebec City at the time, our schools, and convents had such atrocities, and yet they preached the bible and teachings of Jesus.

  15. to peetred>>Well our own history lines up as well, but you will find that some information was falsified to hide the truth. And why is that? Because humans write history, and can write whatever they like, if they wish to gain control and hide the truth, as churches did from the beginning of their establishments, and wasn't that right after Jesus's crucifixion. The disciples went into the world to build that establishment, but it was never meant to be in a building begging for money, or instilling fear into it's congregation as narcissists.

  16. If Jesus lived in our society today, would you follow him if he told you to leave your family or die for him? Remember he said he was the son of God.  But anyone can claim he is the son of God, when no one can prove he is not. But most want to believe in a saviour, when you believe then anything is possible, even hallucinations become real. Mass hysteria over the second coming of Christ would certainly have many people feeling euphoric, imagining what they want to see. Maybe Jesus was a magician, the greatest ever lived.

  17. It's deplorable how some people will do anything in the name of Jesus, religious cults do it all the time; those cults are founded on narcissistic principles, whereby their leaders have many wives, and children they abuse….in the name of Jesus

  18. How do we know for sure the bible was from reliable sources? We were told by religious organizations from which members were narcissists. Why would religious sects instill fear into people, for control of course.

  19. This video assumes Jesus was real but gives us a decent profile of a mythical being if he had existed.  Jesus was a dick.

  20. I just find it hard to believe that a creator of all that is, who put order in this complex universe, who made this planet and created the life that is on it, also created man for the soul purpose to worship him and breed so as to make more to worship him, was surprised that man is weak and sinful, so his best idea was to send his son to do a few miracles until he is tortured by man and given a slow death so that, only now, can our sins be forgiven. What rational point am I missing here?

  21. The Bible is a reliable historical record. The historical markers in the bible line up, long before and after the record of Jesus. And we also do not find any text of the time that denounce that the records in the bible – including the record of jesus.

  22. I agree

Jesus' existence depended on the poor. He didn't help them at all, he demanded that they stopped what they were doing (which would've gotten them richer eventually) and to give all their resources to him instead.

He was not the perfect selfless guy as Christians make him out to be, he was imo another sheep in wolf's clothing.
