Sam, you've helped me greatly in identifying what I've lived through. I believe my ex is everything Narcissist but worse, a Psychopath.
Can you point me in the direction of an expert(s) of Psychopaths for my additional understanding?
I fear the man I gave my love to and I just need some help figuring out if I'm in danger or just paranoid from all his displays of crazed rages and cruel schemes.

I can control my impulses well and no I have no empathy what so ever..as for accomplishments, I'm alive lol I'm just an average joe..In old therapy sessions we had full blown narcs, talk about full of themselves!

is it possible for people with mood disorders to lack empathy or completely sever ties with loved ones episodically ? My boyfriend has behaved in a way that has made me wonder. For two weeks he seemed to do everything to sabotage the relationship then broke up with me….dragged it out and kept changing his mind. Yeh that is common if people are confused/depressed- but what makes me think he is perhaps being abusive is that he would often give me punishing silent treatments. he would watch me get really distressed and say nothing. he would be incredibly hostile and with draw and when I would diplomatically ask what was wrong he would withdraw even more- only interjecti ng after hours of distanci ng to snigger or make a nasty comments knowing it would stir me up. he has been diagnosed with a mental illness Bipolar 2 -not psychopathy/narcissism (he has not been diagnosed with those). But becsuse I feel so mind-fucked by the whole thing I'm wondering. I also have mental health problems so I have difficulty telling when someone is treating me badly especially if it's passively aggressive. Though it has been tumultuous we were still in the passionate phase of our relationship and his behavior makes no sense to me. He has told me he loves me, then he doesn't know if he loves me…and because I'm unwell mentally it's hurt me so badly and he knows it. The most scary thing is that he said he was angry with me about something and even admitted being abusive…he also says 'he doesn't have empathy at the moment but doesn't know how to get it back'. But didn't acknowledge HOW he was being abusive. he also cried. Then went from thst to showing NO emotion whatsoever. whst a head f@ #$. Two weeks ago he paid for a holiday and although both of us can be moody we had moments where we were incredibly close. It is literally two extremes from intense love to complete apathy. I dont like stigmstizing people and always try to see him as a person rather than an illness. ..but separating the two is very difficult. Having my own neutoricisms has made it even more confusing to undersrand what's going on. Like most other human beings I do have empathy, feel an incredible closeness to him and have done my best but nothing I do seems to prevent the hostility and coldness which is chilling. When you are so close to a person and they can just change in a second it's terrifying . The worst thing about these situations is blaming yourself . Its difficult to comprehend somebody you love can treat you like this. Feel like I've been completely head f'd And lost my sense of reality. What a nightmare
My dad is a narcissist and I'm becoming psychopathic because years of me being a kind hearted person and being maliciously abused by those around me have left me drained of a desire to be kind and ability to trust and relate emotionally to those around me. I rationalize treating all Americans badly because they collectively support the government which continues to destroy millions of people's lives (including my own) intentionally with their wars and surveillance and harassment. FBI are like the Nazi SS or Stasi they maliciously target and destroy people's lives through gangstalking.

Had a nap at 3:30 PM today.. Woke at 5:10 just after a weird nightmarish dream..
In the dream, setting was a small town grocery store.. A ragged old bottomed skinny fellow entered the store.. Three ugly as hell patrons started right in on him, nagging and bullying him top-end for him having killed a whale a decade before.. Each one "getting their emotional spears into him, and twisting and wiggling them" in process to make him feel as much emotional pain as they possibly could.. Seems the dream's locale was the east or west coast.. He finished his jail time for it.. There was nothing left of him.. It was obvious that his spirit had been totally broken, crushed and flushed.. It was as if all the life had been drained and sucked out of him.. I said to the three "Leave him be! He did his time, he got his punishment, Shut the h up!..
Two of the three shut up.. The third, the most aggressive, walked right up to me head on.. Looked at me from two perfectly round beady little eyes, the centers white, with a tiny ring of color circling them.. A tiny perfect nose.. Mouth shaped exactly like roser odaner's when she's screaming at frump.. Looking into my eyes like she's thinking "Now I have to eat you!" Her gaze made my senses all sting… Then I woke out of the nightmare..
It seems that psychopathic narcissists, while they are in full-blown episode, see their own faces as a perfectly round twelve inch diameter circles, with tiny perfectly circular eyes, white centres, thin colour ring around the white.. Tiny perfect nose.. Mouth that speaks in a tiny perfect circle, as pungent and pointed as can be.. Seems their primary hobby is to cause excruciating emotional pain to victims.. Face is white and perfectly flat like a 12-inch circle cut out of a sheet of paper, resting flat like "taped to a wall".. Absolutely no facial topographical features what so ever…
I got up, dressed, and went to the front window, to see the telepathic female neighbour across the street standing idle with her mower, glaring at my house with hate and scorn through tiny beady little whitish eyes, mouth in a small tight hateful circle…
Queston is: Do psychopathic narcissists see themselves as two dimensional..?
If that is so.. then the cure would be to somehow teach them a third dimension…
Maybe the treatment is to address them in only two dimensions..
Address them in three dimensions, and they become violent.. Something in the controlling factors in their two-dimensional personality then needs to kill and eat their opponent, so they do what they can to fulfill their evil need…

I have two definite narcs in my life; one is a psychopath; the difference is in that one is incidentally prone to do things that are wrong, the other intends to do harm/wrong. i really like to visit psychotherapy forums for fun, just to listen to peoples problems there. Empathy is the most common reason of their problems.
They CANT break their own downspiral of violence, because they CARE about their tormentor.
I think Psychopaths are the true revealed side of mankind, of what humans ARE behind morals and sociaty. Maybe the amygdala should work like this (or in this case doesnt).
Some humans care more about animals than their own race.
