  1. I take umbrage with that statement, "they go schizoid." First of all, we are not narcissists. I'd even say we're the inverse of narcissists. We have a full musical ensemble of empathy, same as any of you extroverted social types. Instead of getting supply from extracted pain, I personally get my fix from the honesty and openness of a quasi-anonymous abuse community. We eschew grandiosity and braggadocio for the quiet corners. And this is embarrassingly characteristic of schizoids, but instead of seeking sexual deviancy, we recoil from intimacy. Just hearing some of your horror stories could cement someone's self-imposed celibacy for years to comeAlso, we are not crazy. I know "schizoid" sounds like schizophrenic, but it doesn't mean the same thing. We have full control of our faculties and are just as self-aware as y'all. I don't know about other schizoids, but I'm actually trying to break my prison

  2. they slip down the 'scale' as they get older and/or as their needs must imo

  3. Very intelligent.. Keep on rockin Sacha!

  4. I found it very interesting how the sociopath could be locked away for a year all alone and be okay with it. Armed with  this information I realize that I actually know a few people like this.

  5. Recently I triggered a narcistic rage in a "friend" and have now begun to discover who I have been manipulated into a follower delivering constant praise. He is what you call a classic narcacist. He has been trying to turn people against me but luckily my well known guy character is helping me out. This is not the first time he has acted this way so some of our peers are starting to notice his narcism

  6. Love your videos! This scale is a great tool to use when figuring out what kind of narc is in front of you. It allows you an understanding of the level of toxicity going on and what your response to it should be. Thank you!

  7. Thank you for the descriptions. The cerebral narc in me believes the general public are not bright. They want things spoon fed to them in black and white. We, the public, need to know narcs come in all shapes and sizes, and one size does not fit all. Keep up the good work!

  8. WTF??? Jesus… lol

  9. very interesting but just wondering because than I would be a sociopath.i the example you mention with the cabin not only could I be 1 year on my own and walk out unchanged…I would actually prefer it.1 year of peace and quiet and just taking a break from humans and society and monetary responsibilities to maybe become one with nature and do thinks like deep meditation sounds like heaven to me and not a punishmment o0.
I guess the thing which you just didn´t mention but implied it is that a sociopath somehow thrive on suffering and creating it for others…or is not wanting to be a part of this society enough?

  10. Couldn't agree more with this scale. Mom was 8-9 and ex husband was definitely a solid 9 our last 3 years together (of 20 years).
You have such a great understanding of this horrible and endlessly fascinating subject. Thanks so much for your always great videos!! =D

  11. I think OJ Simpson would be a perfect example of a Sociopath IMHO am I right?

  12. Very well thought out thank you

  13. I am sorry-I meant "you look nice with your hair UP"

  14. You look nice with your up!!  And you look really, really nice with your hair down!!  You look great both ways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Plus your very educating!!!!

  15. My mom is a "9:" a covert malignant narcissist who get depressed when she hasn't "fed" off her children's (primarily my next oldest sister and I) pain recently. caused by viciously mean comments, created arguments and public humiliation. Her sweet cycle equates to normal behavior but, all the while, she is absorbing intelligence she galvanizes into a surgical strike to the most vulnerable aspect of a person's life experience, past or present. A master manipulator, another specialty is setting people-her 6 children-against each other by lying, inappropriately sharing confidential information and complaining. Anything said to support her will be used against that person at another time. I've seen the sick Narc smile when I've replayed her scathing discount of my sister's speech at her daughter's wedding. It reminded me the one Anthony Perkins's character sported in Psycho I (1959). Well, I could go on…..but …her birthday is coming up at the end of this month – and I don't want to go. NOBODY wants to discuss the situation, of course. Interesting: she has some cancer under her tongue and a portion of it must be removed. What if she could no longer speak? I know that sounds awful but we'll all been through HELL. I am no-contact right now: for survival.

  16. My ex is a covert and I would say a seven & believe me he has no control with his temper he is very quick to anger loves to start fights, gas lights, so verbally abusive, emotionally abusive and physically abusive.. When he is in a rage honestly there is no stopping him…. with these rages sometimes he is confident and smug afterwords and a few times and only a few he seemed nervous and I am wondering now this might be the case because he really went to far with physical abuse on these accasions, but he honestly has no empathy so I am just so confused with all this.. This man is a mess who needs to be locked up…

  17. close to sociopath there is the malignant narcissisme. the différence between the malignant and other types or narcissists is that the malignant ones never let their victimes to stop the relation or to stop being in contact. they are happy to take a negative supply as well and are very sadistic. they destroy their victimes. i think if there was no consequences their are capables of illegal acts or violent crimes against the victime who is trying to escape.

  18. Lol. I wish they would say "Hey everybody what's up, what's up, I'm the sociopath." If only then I would have known…

  19. learned a bunch! Thanks.

  20. I like your video….they all suck and in my personal experience they get worse with age
