You hit it right on the head im a cna n often thought about certain very rude patients I havr had who are just plain cruel n domineering n never get visitors or have a professional p.o.a. that that must be the case sad really they r thier own worst enemys but the reason I was interested is cuz the great grandmother and "parent" to my childs father who is also an evil narc her pride n joy is so passively narcissistic plays this b.s. sweet old lady act while stirring up horrible drama with custofy filed grandparents rights on no grounds they habe supervised visitation I have a restraining order on him n she helps him with his dirty work harrasses me n my family including extended they both stalk me had to call cops several times get rid of any spcial media lawyered up and the justice system is so slow n unresponsive to how detrimental this all is they even refused to give my son back and I had to call the police to get him bavk n they argued with the cops for a whole half hour! Rediculous but in time my case will be delt with

Sometimes we don't have the easy way out . I'm not at that decision point yet but this will have at least helped emotionally.
The child that is like the parent – so glad you pointed that out . It is just crazy how that behavior can still continue to hurt years later . I try to not let it by telling myself I am not the one with the problem . It does seem to help . But again , I appreciated this .
These spawners neglect, abuse and use children as pawns and then have the nerve to pose as wonderful loving parents for the world and expect us to take care of them when they're old.
Obviously, this is not a pleasant topic, but one that needs to be discussed.
