my dad, his mother, and an ex best friend. luckily my dads not like this any more after about ten years or slowly getting better, his mom is dead, and ditched my now ex best friend

If you confront a narcissist with scientific documentation in psychological literature, YouTube videos, and or memes, do you believe they can "see" their own behavior in such material and how it describes them to a T even if they will never admit it and vehemently deny it? I believe they can. I used to do this with my narc all the time, and he would deny it and instead project say that it describes me and my own behavior. I believe they must know what they are but admitting it would mean losing their power and shattering their false reality.
