People Pleaser Syndrome affects people who were abused in childhood who do NOT grow up to be afflicted with Personality Disorders, such as BPD, Narcissist Personality Disorder or become Psychopaths. Unfortunately, this makes them easy targets for all those bad types, and even makes them vulnerable to being taken advantage of, accidentally, by people who love them.
