  1. I am a former Christian that wholeheartedly believes the Holy Bible was created by narcissists to brainwash people into co-depending relationships. Of course they wouldn't have had any education to deem their submissives "co-dependents," but they would still possess the ability to create them for their narcissistic supply. Think about it…children possess the ability to lie without having the education to deem their actions to be "lying."

If one learns about narcissism, God dangerously fits into too many of the characteristics. If one learns about co-dependency, Jesus (in relation to his father–the narcissist) dangerously fits into too many of the characteristics. Even worse is that God wants people to become Christ-like; after all, Jesus would be God's ultimate co-dependent so why not use him as his vessel. Which would mean that if God is a literary narcissist, he'd definitely thirst for more literary codependents (Jesus' disciples)…and he would get them through Christ ("I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"). But, he would never, ever get enough…hence the real-life codependents today (Christians).

SIDENOTE: severe narcissism can go so far as asking people to kill (Abraham), or to be killed (Jesus); severe codependency can go so far as accepting the request of killing someone (Issac), or to actually commit indirect suicide (Crucifixion).

  2. I honestly believe that, that voice is alien contact to those of us who are willing to hear! Hey call me crazy ..that does not change the truth of things!

  3. moses leads the people out of bondage

  4. @Edward Sims: it sounds like you are more honest than she is: that you are closer to God. He wouldn't have us honor what is dishonorable, either!

  5. Jesus said I thank thee, O Father, that thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and revealed them unto babes—The "babes" are those who are willing to believe in God, as children do. It is humbling; you cannot be the center of the universe if a good, righteous, kind God is, who loves you as dear, beloved children.

  6. The verse quoted at the end is a good portrait of the wolves who make it all about themselves. But they by definition do not really believe in any God above themselves: they have an appearance of godliness, but deny the power & reality of God. They have no relationship with God, which humbles us.

  7. @Edward.. no you are seeing what not to do or grow into.

  8. My mother is a narcissistic evangelist. Very two-faced and has many in her congregation fooled. Her home life is absolutely in chaos but she will never admit that she is the main cause of all the disruption in our family when she rebukes anyone who disagrees with her methods. I've delt with it for years but have now come to seperate myself from her completely to avoid any dampening of my sprirt. I cannot honor what is dishonorable and I don't feel bad about it. Is this wrong?

  9. IMHO there are plenty of narcissistic preachers on the internet including YouTube!

  10. I heard of narcissist priests and pastors becoming atheists in their later years because God did not satisfy their narcissistic desires.

  11. Sounds like that sick MF Warren Jeffs (Jeffers??) – the Utah scumbag hot for little girls.

  12. we had a pastor like this…terrible. I think this might be what Elton John mean in the song "Levon"

  13. This is awesome….says it all!!!

  14. Even if this does occur, and I know that it does because I lived through it, if the "follower" – who probably had been conditioned previously by another narcissist – believes with her whole heart in her God, He will rescue her out of the narcissist's clutches, if she shows love, one to another. So the weakness which he saw in her can be called upon for strength. God is alive and well and sees all. God Bless.

  15. Most religious leaders are narcissists
