As for the flashes – if you're in a big, well-lit auditorium like that, (or a sporting event, etc,) the flash isn't going to help anyway. And if you're more than about 3 or 4 rows back, even in a DARK environment (like a concert,) the flash won't do any good other than lighting up the back of the head of the person in front of you.
Ironic how every pissed off moment has to do with some shitty apple product.
