The Nrke project is an artistic installation which has the main theme based on narcissism. Among so many studies and contributions already developed in the field, the installation was created by a deep search in the History of Art, History of the Mirror as an object and tool in the society, e new media as a form of expression and artistic support. It also has a psychoanalysis background that give emphasis on the narcissism speech. The result of this work is the creation of an environment inside the aesthetics of a frame, which the viewer becomes, progressively, the main work of art to be adored, developing through a self gazing of the viewer’s image – even though shattered and out of context – the essence of the narcissist feeling.
