Storyteller: Memoir of an Ego is a story about the relationship between human and ego. Through the personality division of Maria, a harried teenager making a thesis show, we learn that we must decide which one should be the artist, or “The Storyteller”, in our lives: which one wants to help humanity, and which one wants to simply help themselves.
Taking place both in the chaotic gallery of Maria’s alter ego, The Storyteller, and a pretentious society of artists, STORYTELLER: Memoir of an Ego addresses the dual personality of the narcissist and the growing teenager through theatrical characters.
