Rosalie Dougherty, a middle-aged, loving mother from Kentucky embroiled in a messy divorce, heads to New York City for a much deserved getaway. After years of being ignored and taken for granted, Rosalie seeks out the care of the brooding Dr. Louis Gafnee, a specialist in cosmetic surgery and facial reconstruction. Sold on ‘looking 20 years younger,’ Rosalie undergoes several procedures in pursuit of her newly found fountain of youth. After a short stay in the hospital, Rosalie heads to Dr. Gafnee’s private recovery residence to continue recuperating. Grieving her failing marriage and palpable loneliness, Rosalie befriends a young patient through the vent, finding much needed comfort and understanding. Over the course of several days, Rosalie and her new friend share laughs, jokes, and harmless flirtations. Little does Rosalie know her friendship is quickly morphing into a sociopath’s obsession…
