BLACKWELL is set in the late days of the American frontier, when the gold rush was starting to wane and pioneers were scrambling further towards the cold North in search of other opportunities.The story follows Eli, a callous, sociopath degenerate, who is offered a state pardon in exchange for a box of gold previously stolen by himself and his crew. Accompanying him in this journey is Walton, a surly bounty hunter less concerned by Eli’s well being than the price that currently sits on his head. At the suggestion of the local town Sheriff, the two men take a path through a secluded forest, only to find Eli’s old accomplices still hot on their trail.
