thank you for the video. did you answer the question "are narcissists insane?" i lived a long long time with 2 of them and they are definitely insane. multiple personalities, no empathy, reinventing themselves while taking no blame for their past, knowing right from wrong but choosing to do wrong, lying to themselves and you, purposely abusing when they know are abusing, they know something is wrong with them and they try to drive you as insane as they are. all insanity to it's highest level. they are capable of committing a horrendous crime and having no remorse.

I have somewhat of an idea, but I just don't understand my narcissistic fathers behavior here. He basically pulled me aside and told me to go back to flight school, he insisted on paying for it, told me that he wants this for me, shoved a check in my face and so on. Then he dragged it on for two and half years, kept micromanaging the money and many other things, talked me out of getting loans, then right when I was about to finish, he just simply said, "I don't have anymore money, smirked and walked away" He threw away 15,000 dollars and two and a half years out of both of our lives, just to smirk at me, and tell me that he was just messing with me? I do not doubt that this was pre-meditation.

I did meet a Narcissist and he is sadistic and very subtle and manipulative. He may have murder ed or had assisted to murder 2 persons (I suspect). Is it possible that he is a Narcissistic psychopath?

If one believes in the concepts of good and evil as diametrically opposed forces in the universe…..and if one has a basic understanding of human nature and nurture, one should be able to clearly see that it is necessary to have human manifestations of these concepts in order to personify and bring about negative or positive scenarios in the human condition either on a small personal relationship scale or on a grand global scale. Using impressive sounding nomenclature from the fields of sciences of the mind may fool some people into believing there are rational explanations for very bad behavior….but I think you and I know better. Similarly, the narcissist is incapable of distinguishing between power and the trappings of power. The point that he has no power of his own, that his power is a sham, that he is a stooge for the real power to which he is unqualifiedly beholden, is lost on him.

narcissmvideos, what is your deal? it's good you make videos informing people what narcissism is, but you have some vendetta against narcissists. You can deny if you want, but in every sentence of every one of your videos there is judgment against narcissists, like they could be different but they choose not to, so we should dislike them for that. Dude just accept that narcissists aren't aware of how they affect others, or themselves. Your blame will likely trigger narcissist to be even worse

I wonder, can NPDs also have mutliple personality disorder, or at least, have more than two, half-developed, co-existing personalities? I've seen a person with NPD who had different voices at different times, depending on who was his focus as secondary supply. He would sound completely different, and his values would completely change with each newly prevalent personality.
Narcissists are very sensitive, but they don't always interpret what they are sensing accurately, but rather when they are hypervigilant and in a "splitting" phase (like in a bad mood), they're paranoia of being criticized or abandoned or cheated colorizes their sense of reality. This apparently is not true for all NPDs, it is true for those who have it to a degree where they have psychotic episodes.

Does it matter if they insane or not? The truth of the matter a NPD in your life will take you into insanity and when they are done with you, your life will be but rubble and smoking ruins. What matters is that the courts don't see this as a problem and that is how a NPD mother can keep her kids, destroy them and then blame the father and get away with it.

Oh shit bro I think I am a narcissist. But somehow I feel like many psychological profiles might be much like horoscopes. Containing qualities that apply to everyone in a sense. But I'll tell you one thing, this description got to me the most. Also, I have been posting like a beast all over your other bits regarding this condition. I just started seeing a therapist, and instead of him trying to dig into my relationship with my mom I might have him look into this. I may have OCD as well…dammit
